Every great company has an origin. The story of GRUPO GRYON began more than five decades ago, when the founder of this family legacy began his professional career at Casas y Urbanizaciones de México, S.A., a company that was part of IBEC (International Basic Economy Corporation).
Founded by Nelson A. Rockefeller, IBEC was established with an innovative vision for its time: to demonstrate that private enterprise could serve as a driving force for economic and social development. Through companies involved in housing, agriculture, industry, and other strategic sectors, IBEC promoted projects that created jobs, strengthened local economies, and contributed to improving the quality of life of thousands of families across Latin America.
It was within this environment that the founder of our story developed his professional foundation, learning that true real estate development goes beyond constructing buildings. It means creating communities, generating well-being, acting responsibly, and leaving a positive and lasting impact on society. This philosophy became the principle upon which our company was founded and continues to guide every decision we make.
Inspired by these values, the second generation founded GRUPO GRYON, building a strong track record through the development of real estate projects, primarily in the city of Puebla, where integrity, quality, and commitment to every client became the foundation of a reputation built over many years.
In 2018, GRUPO GRYON entered a new chapter with its expansion into the Riviera Maya, one of Mexico’s fastest-growing regions with significant long-term potential. This expansion represented the natural evolution of decades of accumulated experience, adapting it to an international market that demands innovation, design, sustainability, and a long-term vision for creating lasting value and legacy.
Today, the third generation continues to strengthen this legacy, consolidating GRUPO GRYON’s presence in the Riviera Maya through the development of residential and hospitality projects designed to integrate with their surroundings, create value for investors, and contribute to the responsible development of the region.
